I take this opportunity to introduce myself on this our company’s 30th anniversary. My name is Alex, together with my wonderful wife Kathy, we have managed Classic Pet Enclosures all these years.

It all started with a practical idea. We had our own pets to keep happy and safe: a cockatoo, two cats and a dog so I designed some enclosures to see which one was the most suitable – something that was easy to assemble and to pack up again in case we had to move house. At the time we weren’t thinking of a business venture, we were doing it for the love of our pets.

Soon some friends commented on how easy it was to assemble the cages. They asked me to build a non-wooden enclosure for them, as Building was my trade. I never thought that such a simple idea would have developed into today’s wide variety of enclosures: from our small residential style cages to the far larger special enclosures used by our zoos, cateries, professional breeders and animal rescue groups.

The continued feedback from customers such as yourself during all these years has been invaluable. It has been overwhelming to find out that some of you travel from so far away to visit us here in Eltham, when you could easily shop at our Preston factory or Bayswater.

It is great to see all our friends and to hear your stories about your beloved pets. As pet owners ourselves, we understand how special they are to you and the importance of keeping them safely housed.

I close by saying thank you for giving Kathy and I a wonderfully satisfying business of 30 years, and making Classic Pet Enclosures the leader in pet enclosures.
